“A licença paternidade pode ficar três vezes maior. A proposta que está no Congresso amplia de cinco para 15 dias o período de folga dos pais.
Há quarto dias, desde que Benjamin nasceu, o publicitário Hilan Diener participa de tudo na vida do filho. “Se eu tivesse peito até dava também”, diz.
Mas como vai ficar a vida quando ele voltar ao trabalho? “Vai ser dose sair de perto dele. Vou estar no trabalho perdendo os momentos mais importantes”, fala.

A pediatra Gloria Maria Andrade fala que quanto maior a licença melhor para o bebê. E lembra que para o homem não é um período de férias. “Ele tem que assumir seu papel de pai não só junto ao bebê recém-nascido como se ele tiver outros filhos, ele deve assumir inteiramente as atividades exercidas só pela mãe”, orienta.

No Congresso, um projeto aumenta a licença-paternidade de cinco para quinze dias corridos.
Se o bebê nascer durante as férias do pai, não tem problema: o retorno ao trabalho fica adiado por quinze dias. Quando a licença acaba, o pai tem estabilidade de 30 dias no emprego.

As regras também valem para quem adotar filhos. Veja, em vídeo, a entrevista sobre o assunto com o diretor da Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria do Distrito Federal, Dr. Deoclécio Campos Júnior e com o vice-presidente do Sindivarejista do Distrito Federal, Edson de Castro.”

  10. Com certeza 15 dias são melhores do que 5! Mas ainda é muito pouco. Não sei se vale a pena aprovar um projeto que só dá mais 10 dias. O ideal é que seja feito um debate mais amplo, com a participação das empresas e da sociedade civil, para que a licença paternidade e maternidade sejam vistas como prioridade para promover a saúde das famílias. Com gente mais saudável todo mundo ganha, não é mesmo? Pais e mães felizes geram crianças felizes e promovem uma sociedade melhor – vide os países europeus que dão até 1 ano de licença.
